This is the best bakery in Fredericksburg by far! I only wished they made sheet cakes for large birthday parties! I solved that problem by buying 2 cakes. All their donuts, pies and cakes are the absolute best!
Paul's bakery is celebrating their 50th anniversary on National Donut Day. Thought it was a perfect time to try them out. They have a huge following! The staff is friendly and efficient. Donuts are so fresh and it's a nice variety to choose from. People in line were talking about how good their pies are but I haven't tried them yet. Prices are reasonable and there is parking in the plaza the building is in. Add this location to your weekend donut outings!
So glad I finally tried Paul's Bakery about 15 years ago! Who doesn't love a fresh baked donut??!! These treats never disappoint. I appreciate that the donuts are never stale and always full of flavor. Two of my faves are the old fashioned and the coconut. My partner loves the chocolate frosted! I love Paul's French Silk Pie. Devine. We savor each slice. It's always a good day when we start at Paul's.
Do not pass this place up if you love old fashioned doughnuts! My first time and I was very impressed. The store, staff and quality are all top shelf. I highly recommend the cronut and the maple frosted. Both of those are hard to beat anywhere. Thank you Paul's! You guys are crushing it.
I stopped by Paul’s Bakery today and honestly it was such a pleasant surprise! 😍 The doughnuts and éclairs were absolutely amazing — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. Every bite felt like a little moment of happiness. 🍩✨ If you enjoy good pastries, this place is definitely worth visiting. The taste is so good it almost feels like traveling back in time to when desserts were made with pure love and care. ⏳💛 I’m really glad I went, and I’m pretty sure anyone who tries their sweets will leave with a big smile. King of the Southern Donuts, 95 North and South. You want real old school donuts made the right way. Look no further. Been in The Burg's for 25 years now. There still the best in The Burg's! Paul's family keep up the good work and quality.
It is nice to grabbed your bakery and smell right out freshly cooked. You can go for week fresh. Preferably you can order or do any catering. As big event are appreciated when you showed up with it.
Okay….. the hype….. is real. Excellent customer service! First time here, but we’ve heard locals rave about this place for many, many years. Since it was our first time, they gave us two complementary glaze donuts which was very classy and unexpected, but greatly appreciated. The custard filled glaze donut and eclair were legendary and creamy!!!! The drive there was painful but the tasting at home was well worth it! Highly recommend the eclair and cheese filled pastries, and the glaze was iconic.
They made my gender reveal so special 🥺🫶🏽 I looked at a lot of different places before realizing they made gender reveal cakes and I already love their donuts and brownies so it was a no brainer to have them do my cake. The cake came out beautiful and was delicious and as always the customer service was amazing 🥹🩷
Really like this place. When I bring my little one there they are kind and friendly. Recently one lady asked him what did he do to help someone today? They even have stickers for kids to choose from. That day they also had my favorite still available-their jelly powdered donut holes. My excitement was so apparent that I think the lady who took my order added a couple of extras😃. Overall we appreciated that extra kindness. And that’s what makes Paul’s stand out. Not only are their donuts delicious but their customer service is exceptional!
